There may be special events happening for your child’s age group.  Please register early so that you can be contacted with details.  All ages except nursery will have a pool party, for example.

Nursery- babies and children ages 2 months to 2.5 years can play, rest, and snuggle safely in the arms of our baby-loving child care experts.

Rainbow Fairies- Following our storytelling theme, children ages 2.5 to 5 will be read many fabulous fictional adventures and will become storytellers themselves. They will enjoy acting out the stories they learn, will create their own costumes, and will be invited to participate in the Spirited Worship service on Sunday morning.

Peace Ninjas- Children of elementary age will create their own story in the form of a play to be performed at Spirited Worship on Sunday morning.  They will create masks from scratch (Please plan to be there Friday evening) of their characters and will learn some acting techniques and tricks during a workshop with a trained actor.  They will be invited to present their play as the “main event” at Spirited Worship on Sunday morning.

MUUGs- Middle school aged youth will participate in a weekend full of storytelling activities, as well as engage in the life of District Assembly.  Games (Get ready for Werewolves with a special twist), teen workshops and activities will revolve around learning to tell our own stories in captivating ways.  Saturday night’s teen Coffee House will be a show case for story-telling, and participation in appropriate adult workshops will be encouraged.   MUUGs will enjoy attending Friday night youth-led worship and will have a sleep over with supervising adults Saturday night.

DYGT- High school aged youth are able to attend DA without a parent, but must be sponsored by an adult who is in attendance and knows them.  They will sleep over both Friday and Saturday nights, and participate in the life of DA with the adults, attending the keynote breakfast on Saturday morning and leading a workshop for adults on Saturday afternoon.  There will also be special youth workshops, games and activities throughout the weekend and a Coffee house Saturday night for youth to tell their stories- Given an audience of 40 teens, what story from your life would you want to tell?
